Blackberry’s latest attempt at tapping the so called ‘budget Smartphone’ markets has ended in achieving success with the Blackberry Curve 9320. This new Smartphone’s a re-modeled edition of the previous iteration (Curve 9300), to bring you an extremely familiar design.
Blackberry Curve 9320 has a 2.44-inches screen, meaning that sometimes images will be slightly pixilated, even though smaller size aids in mitigating that effect. The design is slick and the style along with the price has pushed this phone towards Blackberry’s Bold range.
Blackberry has experimented lately with keyboards, but Curve 9320’s keyboard has lozenge-shaped, separated keys. This style makes pecking out messages really easy!
If you talk of the ergonomic design, Curve 9320’s design is quite standard fare…all relevant buttons have been placed in spots that are effortless to reach. What is nice is the lock button placed on the top, especially because of the handset having smaller dimensions. People who moved from using touch screens of 4-inches & more were amazed at how easy it was to use the keyboard!
Another feature on the top is the jack (3.5mm), which makes it a lot easier when you’re trying to connect your flashy BlackBerry headphones to control radio & music. Key placements are also really cool….the new addition is a BBM dedicated key that will but naturally take you to the BlackBerry Messenger app. This key works exceptionally quickly proving that BB Curve 9320’s speed has been improved & the phone is super slick! Opening apps & exiting them, browsing the web, etc. has become buttery smooth!
Blackberry Curve 9320’s camera has not really been upgraded….at 3.2MP the pictures are not that stunning. On the other hand, if you compare it to Curve 9300 & the 2MP camera it offered, this happens to be a noteworthy upgrade! A fascinating feature on Blackberry’s Curve 9320 is an FM radio that has been included…no doubt here that this is a well thought of effort.
This is one budget handset which is well packed with decent OS…keys are very well spaced, screen’s acceptable & last of all overall speed & added dedicated keys make it worth a buy!
