Expansion Of The Asha range By Nokia

Nokia has been immensely successful with its budget smart phone Asha. With the help of Asha, Nokia aims at covering up major portions of the entry level smartphones. Though the Asha series is slightly low on price one must not underestimate its capabilities and features. The success of the Asha series leads to the introduction of two new phones in the series, the Asha 308 and Asha 309 which were recently launched.

More About The Models

The Asha 308 consists of slots for two SIM cards where as the Asha 309 is a single SIM phone. Both the phones primarily aim at providing web experience at good speed for their customers and that too at low cost. These phones feature the specially made Nokia express browser which increases the efficiency of browsing the internet. The new browser is said to be 90% more effective and faster than the conventional browsers.

The new additions to the Asha series would also see the inclusion of Swipe interface and also an invitation for third party application development. The capacitive phones are loaded with features and sound the bell that Nokia is pretty serious about the low cost smart phone range.
