The new security feature allows developers to support Pointer Lock API for applications that need better mouse control. For instance, gaming websites where mouse control is extremely important to enjoy games. Firefox’s new security feature also provides support for full screen mode on OS X Lion 10.7 which ensures better videos and web games that many people play directly on their browser window.
