iPhone 5 Receives Overwhelming Response in Pre-Orders

It is just a day ago when Apple unveiled their new iPhone 5 and announced that they are ready to take pre-orders from the customers. Apple has now announced that they received more than two million pre-orders for the new iPhone 5 in just 24 hours which is the double the demand of iPhone 4S. Apple claims that they have never seen demand like this for any of the iPhone smartphone ever before and the demand for iPhone 5 have exceeded the initial supply. The company claims that majority of the buyers will receive their iPhone 5 before September 21 but many of them will receive their iPhone 5 in October 2012. Apple said that iPhone 5 is the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever made and they have made modifications and improvements to the earlier model that has attracted lot of consumers.

Philip Schiller, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing said that the pre-orders have shattered all the previous records hold by iPhone 4S and the customer response is simply phenomenal for them. He said that they have tried to make iPhone 5 the most beautiful smartphone ever and hopefully customers will love it when they use it. The new iPhone 5 will have iOS 6 and A6 chip for blazing fast performance.
