LG is definitely making sure that they be in the race of smartphones where Samsung and Nokia are racing ahead. Recently, LG announced that their LG Optimus LTE has crossed the 1 million sales mark. This means that LG Optimus LTE is among the top smartphones that people are buying because it comes with the latest LTE technology that allows super-speed internet usage on their smartphones. LG decided to debut LG Optimus LTE in South Korea and more than 600,000 handsets were sold in the first three months. LG then launched the same phone in Japan, Canada and United States where it received good response.
The all new LG Optimus LTE became the world’s first HD LTE smartphone by LG. the phone offers high resolution screen which has 1280 x 720 pixel IPS display. LG announced that the phone has 4.5 inch True HD screen that can provide sharp clarity and natural color which can beat some of the top line smartphones in the same range. Inside the smartphone LG has incorporated the latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread and have recently announced that the company is looking forward to upgrade the version to Ice Cream Sandwich in 2012. This smartphone also sports 1.5GHz dual core processor inside which ensures speedy access and navigation.
LG CEO and President Jong Seok-Park said that Optimus LTE ensures that LG does have leadership in LTE technology. He also said that the LTE connectivity along with HD screen will make this phone one of the best in global mobile market.
