LG released a new mobile phone with stunning performance just before MWC 2012 in Korea. It is LG Optimus VU with Android OS v2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system. However, LG promises to give the updated android Ice cream sandwich within three months. This advanced phone is attracting the attention of the mobile market. It has got excellent features and best satisfies the customer needs. Here is LG Optimus VU review to give you an account of the various features and specifications of this wonderful phone.

Features of LG Optimus VU

  • Design

This latest phone that is similar to Samsung Galaxy Note comes with pen friendly interface which makes the notes taking process very easy. It also includes the stylus. The 4.3 inch wide screen enables you to read even the eBooks on your mobile phone. The giant Optimus VU is hard to operate with hand and has a look of mini iPad.

  • Display

Wide screen makes it interesting to work using this phone. The high pixel density of 1024×768 offers high quality clear and bright pictures. It even makes it easy to work whenever you connect to internet. The capacitive touch screen makes things easier. You can change the screen by simply swiping the screen. The touch screen works absolutely well.

  • Operating system

Now, in this LG Optimus review let us concentrate on the operating system. It comes with Android OS v2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system. However, LG promises to give the upgraded Android ice cream sandwich in just three months after release. To support multiple applications that can be used with this operating system LG has included very high speed 1.5GHz Dual-Core Processor, NFC processor. Inclusion of high speed processor prevents slowdown or sudden shutdown of applications.

  • Other features

This tablet style mobile phone includes a high quality battery and supports GSM network. Apart from sending the SMS that you can do on any mobile phone this smart phone allows you to send even the emails. However, you will have to wait for an upgraded version to send MMS or to enjoy the push mail feature. You can even connect the device to a system or other supporting devices using the USB port. It allows you to transfer data using the Bluetooth feature to another mobile phone or a computer supporting Bluetooth feature.

To support multiple applications at a time it has about 1GB of RAM and 8GB ROM making it comfortable to even carryout downloads.

Loud speaker facility and the audio system supporting various music formats also perform well on this smart phone. It is just worth the price and would definitely be a best buy.

LG Optimus VU, the stylish phone that works at very high speed is currently released only in the Korean market. However, LG is planning to extend its market to US and EU also.
