There is no doubt that the new Samsung Galaxy Note has taken the world by storm and therefore there are many companies and top players who are looking for a breakthrough to come with products similar like that. Now, LG has decided to follow the same trend and come up with some new Android smartphones. LG has announced the launch of the new LG Optimus Vu which will be revealed for the first time at the Mobile World Congress 2012. This means that now there will be two 5 inch Korean made Android smartphones available in the market that are combining the features of tablet and smartphone.

The interesting thing about LG Optimus Vu is that like Samsung Galaxy Note this one also has the pen friendly interface which makes it easier for the consumers to draw and make notes and in some way it brings back the old days when stylus was considered as one of the important things that was provided. However, it is not the stylus but the screen that LG is focusing on. LG has claimed that the 4.3 inch screen of LG Optimus Vu will be one of the top selling points as it will make it convenient for ebooks and other content.
However, LGhas decided that the product will first only be available in Korea and will have Android Gingerbread with 1.5GHz dual core processor. LG has also confirmed that there will be an update to Ice Cream Sandwich within first three months of the launch.
