LG Unveils Smart TV Alliance System

People today need smart technologies that can be infused in their home appliances and entertainment systems. LG has now made an announcement about their new universal smart TV system that will be available in the market by the end of 2012. The company said that they collaborated with Philips to come up with something interesting for the consumers. They have also teamed up with various manufacturers in Japan to create universal platform for apps for TVs.

LG said that the new Smart TV Alliance will make it easier for the consumers to share their apps across multiple televisions and boost more developers to come up with such apps. Bong Seok Kwon, President of Smart TV Alliance for LG said that coming up with universal smart TV is very difficult because there are different technologies and different brands available in the market. With this alliance new apps will be created across the globe that can be supported by the TV in any country.
