As everyone knows that Motorola has been quiet for some time and that could mainly be owing to the transition of ownership that it has made. The company, now owned by Google, has announced its first release in the shape of Motorola Droid Razr trio. Perhaps, the “Droid” has been picked up from “Android” which is the operating systems in all 3 of these phones.

However, in this Motorola Droid Razr M Review, we are only going to be talking about the Motorola Droid Razr M which is due in a day or two, and not about its big brothers which apparently are making their debut by the end of this year.

Size & Price

So coming back to the Motorola Droid Razr M; let us first tell you that this mobile phone is in no way standing up against the big giants in competition, like the iPhone 5 (expected soon), Samsung Galaxy S series etc.; the Motorola Droid Razr M is targeted at the market which is on the lookout for a mediocre phone – a new smartphone, that is not too big, too fancy and too pricey. The Motorola Droid Razr M is just that. It costs around $99 and can easily fit in the pocket of slim fit jeans. To be exact its dimensions are 2.4” X 4.8” with only 0.33” thickness.

Design

So it’s definitely a light and easy-to-carry phone. This property is further enhanced by its robust and sturdy built. On the back, is provided a textured Kevlar material and on the front is the Corning Gorilla Glass. What’s of real interest is the fact that it has a water-repellent coating on the backside (which is new) that is going to protect this cute little Motorola Droid Razr M from moist palms, accidental spills and a visit out in light showers.

Screen

The Motorola Droid Razr M Review cannot be complete until we have talked about its performance as it is not just the looks but the performance that consumers are after. The Motorola Droid Razr M, however, is not going to disappoint you in looks either as most of its front is covered with 4.3” Amoled Advanced display screen with 960 X 540 resolution which is okay for its size.

Performance

Much about the outside; the inside of the Motorola Droid Razr M consists of an Android dual-core processor (1.5GHz) alongside 1 GB of RAM.

Availability

And finally to talk about its availability in this Motorola Droid Razr M Review, the official release date is said to be 13th September, 2012. It is going to be launched with Verizon 4G LTE access.
