Motorola Droid RAZR design
The Motorola Droid RAZR inherits the design from the original Motorola RAZR with a bit of modifications to look like a modern smartphone. It is designed in such a way that it feels ultra-light when holding in hands weighing just at 127 g (4.5 ounces) and is also the slimmest phone around measuring at just 7.1mm (0.28 inch).
While it’s the slimmest and lightest around, at the same time it gives a solid feel and this is all because of the sculpted glass, the Kevlar rear covering (soft to touch unlike other rough Kevlar surfaces), and the stainless steel chassis that bonds it all collectively. It even has nanotechnology coating involved so that makes the Motorola Droid RAZR anti-splash, though the phone isn’t water-resistant.
Motorola Droid RAZR display
The slim display of Motorola Droid RAZR measure at 4.3” (Super AMOLED Advanced display unit) and is produced of sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass, which is said to be scratch-resistant too. The screen has qHD resolution, so that the images and graphics are both bright and crispy.
Motorola Droid RAZR processor & ram
The Motorola Droid RAZR is powered by 1.2GHz (dual-core) TI processor and packs 1GB of RAM. With this excellent combination, the navigation is a swift. Animations and transitions weren’t sluggish and the phone can also handle multi-tasks efficiently.
Motorola Droid RAZR operating system
The Motorola Droid Razr comes along with Android OS V2.3.5 (Gingerbread) with Motoblur UI topping. As far as users are concerned for Ice cream sandwich, then it is rumored for the phone to get it in the early stages of 2012.
Motorola Droid RAZR media
Motorola Droid RAZR has 16 GB of internal memory and Micro SD card slot that supports up to 32 GB, while 16 GB of memory card comes along with the sales package. The phone is the first smartphone to be able to stream HD stuff from Netflix, as said by Motorola. Besides it has all the necessary media functionalities to keep you entertained!
Conclusion
No doubt the Motorola Droid RAZR is an art of solidity and design but it is a bit behind the trail of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. But as soon as it gets Ice Cream Sandwich, the fans will lean towards it in no time.
Motorola Droid RAZR availability: The Motorola Droid RAZR will set you back for $299.99 and will be out in early November following a new two-year service agreement with Verizon Wireless carrier. However, pre-orders for the phone will be taken from October 27th.
