Skype Video Calling Feature Available for Sony Ericsson Xperia Users

People certainly love to do more with their smartphones these days and therefore they want better apps that can help them to do things that were nearly impossible with the help of a cell phone. Skype is one of the popular apps on Android and it allows people to have conversations and even video calling. However, there were certain smartphones that were unable to have the video calling feature on Skype. Towards the end of June, Skype announced that they have updated the Skype for Android which is an app on Android market.

Now with the help of new updated Skype for Android, Sony Ericsson smartphones like Xperia PLAY, Xperia Mini Pro and Xperia Ray will be able to handle and support video calling when users are trying to make video calling through Skype. The all new Skype 2.1 Android client will make it more convenient for the Sony Ericsson users to make use of video calling feature. Users can download the new Skype client from the Android market which is available for free. The Skype application will make life easier for the users because they can do lot more things with this new application.

With the video calling feature added to this client people will now be able to make free video calls between smartphones that support iOS, Android and even PCs and Macs. Sony Ericsson has said that users who are trying to make use of the video call feature on Skype should use Wi-Fi connection or strong 3G plan that can help users to have uninterrupted video calls. The company even mentioned and confirmed that Skype has gone ahead and updated a lot of information which would help Sony Ericsson users to handle the Skype application in a better way. Hence, now video calling on most of the Xperia smartphones will be a better experience for users.
