Sony Unveils Two New Xperia Smartphones

Sony Mobile Communications has announced the launch of two new smartphones that will add to the Xperia family, Xperia Miro and Xperia Tipo. The company revealed that both the smartphones are designed for young generation and they are stylish and fun to use. Sony said that both the smartphones have social networking and excellent sound features that will help the customers to stay connected with their friends and family members on the go and at the same time enjoy their favorite music tracks while they are on the move.

On the outside, both the phones are different to some extent. Although, both the phones are targeted for the young buyers but Xperia Tipo has a simple and easy interface which indicates that Sony has designed Tipo for first time smartphone users. On the other hand, Xperia Miro is more advanced and has range of features that an advanced and intermediate users would like to have. However, Sony has incorporated Android Ice Cream Sandwich for both the smartphones.

The all new Xperia Miro sports a 3.5 inch display that is really good for browsing sites and also to enjoy music videos. On the other hand, Xperia Tipo has a smaller 3.2 inch scratch resistant mineral glass display which is good for first time smartphone users. Sony has incorporated 5 megapixel camera on Xperia Miro while Xperia Tipo has 3.2 megapixel camera which is good enough to take decent quality pictures.

Xperia Miro has a list of features that will be liked by advanced smartphone users like Sony’s xLOUD audio technology which can provide crisp and excellent sound to listen to music and various recordings. It also has Facebook integration, customized illuminations for incoming messages and social networking updates. Xperia Tipo does not have these extra options but Tipo still manages to impress beginners through better data management solutions and improved Bluetooth and Wi-Fi features. Xperia Miro also has front facing camera for voice calls and chats which is absent in Xperia Tipo. Sony claims that both the smartphones have powerful battery that can handle all the applications for 24 hours and more usage.
