Sony has been trying to stay in the competition with a range of Xperia smartphones that would become the next generation smartphones in the market.  Sony is aggressively marketing the Xperia smartphones and now Sony has decided to launch another smartphone that belongs to the Xperia family. The all new Sony Xperia T looks very much like Sony Xperia Arc S but it still has some distinct features that separate it from the earlier phones that Sony has launched. Let’s take a quick look at some of the top features in the Sony Xperia T review that will make this phone a success in the market.

Design

On the outside, Sony Xperia T is very much similar to Xperia Arc S. It is very slim profile and therefore it fits well in the palm. Sony has made sure that the weight of the smartphone remains less and therefore Xperia T weighs only 139 grams which slips into pockets without displaying any bulge.

On the back is non-removable cover which means that consumers will not be able to replace the battery if there are battery issues. The SIM card and microSD slot are on the right side of the smartphone. Although, Sony has already provided 16GB onboard storage capacity that can be extended with additional 32GB memory card. The power button, camera shutter button and volume rocker buttons are on the right while micro USB charging is on the left side of the phone.

Display

Sony has incorporated Xperia T with 4.55 inch LCD screen that offers resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels that breaks down to pixel density of 323 ppi. Although, the resolution is really great but Sony has called Xperia T as one of their flagship phones which means that the resolution should have been better than what it is. The Xperia T has Bravia powered screen which is sharp and the contrast makes the phone look really great even in the bright sunny environment. The front is dominated by scratch resistant glass that also holds 1.3 megapixel front facing camera for video calls and various purposes.

Operating System

Sony brings out the Xperia T with Android Ice Cream Sandwich v4.0.4 but Sony has not made any announcements for the Jelly Bean update which can hurt the sales of Xperia T in the future. The overall navigation and browsing experience is smooth mainly because of dual core 1.5GHz Krait CPU that is present inside the phone. Sony Xperia T is also PlayStation certified smartphone which means it will appeal to various consumers that love playing games. Sony claims that the functions that are incorporated in Xperia T will offer better smartphone experience to consumers that buy it.
