Google lately released its new enterprising operating system, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean at an annual conference held at San Francisco. It has a new updated v4.1. for Android and thus OS is expected to feature in many devices including the Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Nexus S, and Motorola XOOM sometime in the middle of July. Fastest Android till date:
The Operating System as well as the native apps offers a constant delivery of a frame rate of 60fps. This is possible with the use of Triple Buffering, which keeps the GPU and the CPU coordinated so that the refresh rate is kept at 60fps to provide an experience of a smoother User Interface. There is also a feature called Touch Input Boost which wakes the CPU up from its idle state faster than ever before. There is also a new algorithm employed for its touch application that learns the patterns of your usage to predict which part of your screen you will next be touching.
Google now:
Google Now is a feature that learns and observes your usage pattern to automatically present to you information about the time and your location. You will be updated about favorites sports teams, public transport alerts, traffic information, weather alerts and many more.
Intuitive notifications:
With Jelly Bean, your notifications are actionable now, that is, you are allowed to reply to messages or share photos on Facebook right from your drop down list, all this without opening the app. Notifications can also be expanded with a gesture of moving two fingers.
App updates get smarter:
There are to be smarter updates on the Play Store of Jelly Bean. That is, only those parts of the app that have been changed have to be downloaded instead of downloading the complete app.
User Interface changes:
There are now customizable widgets that you can use to adjust your widget size on your screen. The keyboard too has seen lot of improvements. There are suggestions for your next probable word even before you can type it out. Also, there are additions of eighteen new languages by default, which also include Hindi. The voice search option is in- built so that it can also be used offline now.
Modified Camera App:
Getting to your gallery is now simple after clicking photos with just the swipe of your finger. Swiping upwards will delete the photo and also undo deletes made by mistake.
